IMESA 2016The biennial IMESA/CESA Excellence Awards was held last night at the 80th IMESA Conference in East London. The awards give recognition to well-engineered civil engineering projects for infrastructure.

Entrants for the awards must portray the art and science of civil engineering for infrastructure to the general public and indicate how the profession finds answers to challenges.

Frank Stevens, former IMESA President, presented the awards. According to Stevens, the high standard of this year’s entrants made judging the Excellence Awards a challenge.
