This week Instagram began testing the ‘Selected People’ function, which allows the user to choose who can see each post made in stories.
The novelty will replace the ‘Best Friends’ feature, which makes it possible to share content with a single contact list, but without the possibility of changing the selected group in a flexible way.
The goal, according to Instagram, is to give Internet users more control over their shares on the social network.
For now, the test is taking place exclusively in Brazil. The new feature should gradually become available to Android and iPhone (iOS) users throughout this week.
